Treatment at Forest Hill CBT

Adult and Adolescent Treatments
Our team of registered Clinical Psychologists/Psychological Associates. provide one-on-one, specialized treatment to individuals ages 13 and above, including treatment tailored specifically to meet the needs of older adults ages 65+. Please note the current wait time for a first appointment is approximately 2-6 weeks, subject to variations.

Assessment at Forest Hill CBT
Consistent with our approach to evidence-based psychological care at FHCBT, we are now offering evidenced -based neuropsychological assessments for adults (ages 18-65) and older adults (65+). We aim to help you meet your assessment goals by providing a comprehensive assessment of you and all aspects of your functioning to better understand you and your situation and provide tailored treatment recommendations.
Currently, Forest Hill CBT provides assessment services for the following difficulties:

* Acquired or Traumatic Brain Injury
* Normal aging
* Mild Cognitive Impairment
* Brain cancer or cancer treatment

We offer marriage and relationship counselling, utilizing Gottman Method Couples Therapy and other evidence-based treatment methods.
Forest Hill CBT is pleased to be offering virtual group treatments! Group therapy is a great opportunity to connect with and receive support from others experiencing the same or similar difficulties, while learning strategies and skills that will help you every day.

- Comprehensive CBT for Depression with Dr. Lance Hawley – Weekly on Wednesdays from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, beginning Fall, 2022
This virtual, structured group is led by registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Lance Hawley. The goal of this course is to help manage symptoms of depression by learning to pay attention and respond to experiences in a non-judgmental way and to provide a non-judgmental support network with others who experience similar challenges. Sessions will include interactive handouts, media, and the teaching/practice of other experiential practices.
