Older Adult Group Therapy:

Forest Hill Centre for CBT is excited to announce that in Fall 2021 we will be launching virtual, group CBT sessions for older adults. Over the course of eight structured treatment sessions, group members will receive CBT skill development for managing anxiety tailored to meet their needs, while enjoying the support and understanding of peers facing similar challenges. The virtual aspect of this program allows for members to partake in, and benefit from, group CBT while following COVID-19 guidelines and staying safe. Groups will be led by Forest Hill CBT’s Dr. Julie Erickson Ph.D., C.Psych. For more information, please call Jasmine at Forest Hill CBT by phone at 416-432-4587, or by email at info@foresthillcbt.com.

Transdiagnostic Group Therapy:

We are excited to announce our new, virtual, transdiagnostic group therapeutic program coming this fall at Forest Hill CBT! We believe this program can be of value to a wide range of your patients struggling with their mental health!

Over the course of eight structured treatment sessions, group members will be taught scientifically supported CBT skill development for managing symptoms of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The virtual aspect of this program allows for members to partake in, and benefit from, group CBT while following COVID-19 guidelines and staying safe.

Groups will be led by Forest Hill CBT’s Dr. Lance Hawley, a senior clinician at Forest Hill CBT, and the Clinical Lead and Co-Director of Training for the Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. His treatment approach is collaborative and individualized, considering research supported psychological treatments in order to help individuals cope more effectively with their circumstances. He is thrilled to be part of this program!

Group sessions will begin Fall 2021. Sessions will be two hours in length, occurring once per week for eight weeks.

If you feel you may benefit from our new service, or if you have any questions at all, please feel free reach out to us by phone at (416)432-4587, or by email at info@foresthillcbt.com.
